Billing Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Billing Clerk to join our finance team and ensure accuracy in client invoicing and account management. Position SummaryThe Billing Clerk at Aevia HR Company is responsible for generating and processing accurate client invoices, reconciling billing discrepancies, and supporting the monthly billing cycle for our HR and payroll services. This role works closely with the Client Success, Payroll, and Accounting teams to ensure timely and precise invoicing based on contracted services, employee counts, and variable service fees. Responsibilities • Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner. • Verify billing data and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy. • Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records and documentation. • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing inquiries. • Process adjustments, credits, and refunds as necessary. • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments. • Generate billing reports and provide support during audits. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role in the pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry. • Strong understanding of billing procedures and accounting principles. • Excellent numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail. • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and customers. • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in accounting or finance is preferred.
