This role will involve assisting with the daily operations of our facility, including but not limited to feeding, walking, bathing, and grooming pets, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and assisting with client relations.\nResponsibilities:\nFeed and provide water to pets according to schedules and dietary needs\nAssist in daily household needs & cleaning\nAssist with bathing, brushing, and grooming pets as required.\nClean and sanitize kennels, grooming areas, and common areas on a regular basis\nEngage dogs in enrichment activities\nProvide basic care including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed by owners\nMaintain a clean and organized environment, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing play areas and equipment\nAssist with check-in and check-out procedures, including greeting clients and collecting payments\nCommunicate with pet owners to provide updates on their dogs' activities and behavior\nAssist with calendar management\nRequirements:\nHas common knowledge for basic cleaning and pet care.\nPrevious experience working with dogs preferred but not required\nAbility to handle and restrain pets safely and gently\nPhysical stamina and ability to lift and carry pets and supplies as needed\nStrong communication and customer service skills\nAbility to work well independently as well as part of a team\nWillingness to work flexible hours\nWillingness to learn\nBenefits:\nOpportunities to become a dog groomer/trainer/etc.\nFun and supportive work environment\nOpportunities for growth\nDiscounts on personal dog care, boarding and grooming services\nIf you love dogs and are looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in\nthe lives of dogs and their owners, we'd love to hear from you!
