The Teller Retail Banker serves as the first point of contact for customers, processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This role provides information on bank products and services, answers questions, and refers customers to appropriate banking partners when needed. Daily responsibilities include balancing the cash drawer, maintaining proper cash controls, and following all bank policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position also involves supporting an outstanding branch customer experience by greeting customers promptly, resolving concerns, and contributing to a welcoming, professional environment.Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Experience capabilities.Effective Communication skills, with the ability to explain banking products, processes, and policies clearly and professionally.Experience handling Deposits and other basic financial transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.Basic math aptitude, cash-handling experience, and comfort working with point-of-sale or banking systems.Ability to work on-site during branch operating hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail, banking, or customer-facing experience preferred.Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and commitment to following security, compliance, and confidentiality standards.
