Knowing large-scale datastore bottlenecks, asynchronous application design and client-server architecture is crucial for this role.\nOn our Patching team specifically, scale shows up primarily as a data-volume problem — think retrofitting systems to handle massive datasets, not just high request traffic. If you've worked on large-scale datastore performance, this is where that experience gets used daily.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nSoftware Development: Lead the development of large-scale software applications, ensuring high quality and adherence to our quality-first standards.\nSoftware Architecture & Leadership: Influence critical architectural decisions, ensuring that systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. Balance technical debt, performance concerns, and scalability with business needs.\nCollaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on technical decisions and drive improvements.
