Job Summary: InterContinental The Clement Monterey is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill the role of Dishwasher. This is a full-time, individual contributor position that offers a competitive salary of $22 per hour, paid biweekly. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive salary of $23 per hour- Paid biweekly- Opportunity for growth and development within the company- Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and discounts on hotel stays and dining.Responsibilities:- Responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes and kitchen equipment according to established procedures.- Maintain clean and organized work area at all times, including dishwashing area and kitchen.- Assist with food preparation, such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.- Follow recipes and guidelines for correct portion sizes and presentation of dishes.- Assist with receiving and storing of food and supplies as needed.- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.- Communicate effectively with team members and superiors.- Take ownership and actively participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or Executive Chef.Requirements:- Prior experience in a similar role preferred.- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.- Valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
