Lead Controls / Automation Engineer (Integrator)We are seeking a an Automation Engineer to design and program complex electrical systems while mentoring engineering team.Responsibilities:Designs systems of electrical and automated controls for machines and processesMentor & train junior-level engineersIntegrated control and information solutions using Allen-Bradley, & Rockwell Automation.Programs PLC, HMI and SCADA based project requirementsSelects hardware and formulates engineering design based on project requirementsReviews system design for compliance with engineering best practices, appropriate regulations and codes, company standards, customer contract requirements and related specificationsFormulates and performs factory acceptance test plans for completed systemsPerforms site acceptance tests at client job sitesProvides PLC and HMI programming field supportAssists engineering manager with the below: programming and FAT schedulingresolving engineering design and testing problemsperform design review of other engineersAssists Sales Department in selecting components and estimating engineering scope on quotationsProvides project management assistance for control systemsDirects and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems on field installations.AutoCAD, ERP system (sage - business system)Microsoft Office products to perform engineering and project management tasksQualifications:Bachelor's degree in EE, Engineering, similar or equivalency years of experienceMinimum 7 years related experience in design, development, programming, and field commissioning experience.Have direct engineering leadership experience, or have the desire to transition into a leadership roleAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents including P&IDs, sequence of operations, technical specifications, etc.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Effectively present information to top management, customers, and employeesAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.Apply mathematical operations to such tasks as determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and factor analysis.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and color vision.Close vision, and color vision ability requiredSafely and effectively lifting, carrying, and moving objects of varying weightsBending, stooping, reaching, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods and maintaining the necessary physical dexterity and coordinationWorking in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, and noise levels at timesWhat we offer:A dynamic, flexible culture, that promotes collaboration and professional/ personal growth of each team member.To be a part of a well-established team that values hard work, innovation & knows the value of its people.Coaching, mentoring helping team members realize their potential, aiding in defining goals and executing them.We have an aggressive growth strategy; Making way for ample advancement opportunities to transition into operations and/or direct management.Competitive base package + bonus planWe have continuous training, and are firm believers that a strong, knowledgeable, well-trained staff is the reason we are at the top of our field, having continued success.Our goal as leaders is to provide value, value to our clients, vendors and more importantly to our team- YOU.Looking forward to getting to know you!
