Tasks are completed in a covered plant environment that is fast paced, loud/noisy, and open to outdoor elements including extreme summer heat and seasonal cold temperatures. This position works in areas with heavy moving equipment and hazardous chemicals, and the use of personal protective safety equipment is required.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nPouring, spreading, leveling, and smoothing concrete materials.\nApplying surface treatments such as troweling, edging, and release agents.\nPreparing the worksite and assembling concrete forms.\nLoading and unloading materials, supplies, and work tools.\nMaintaining and adhering to strict safety standards.\nMaintaining a clean and organized facility and job site.\nCompleting assigned tasks in accordance with production schedules.\nAssists in completing set up and cleanup tasks prior to and after maintenance work.\nAdheres to all O.S.H.A. safety standards, rules, and regulations including use of personal protective/safety equipment while on plant grounds.\nAdheres to all company safety standards.\nPerforms other job responsibilities as assigned by management.\nRequirements:\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to frequently move heavy objects, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, and moving objects weighing up to 60 pounds. Must be able to frequently tolerate repetitive movement and motion including standing, climbing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and crouching.\nExposure to working outside in extreme weather conditions; cold in the winter and extreme heat in the summer.\nContinuous exposure to high heat, high cold, loud noise, and outdoor working conditions\nTolerance to moderate noise levels.\nAbility to talk, hear, read, and understand verbal and written communications, and carry out job tasks safely around heavy rolling equipment.\nHeavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nMust wear personal protective/safety equipment while on plant grounds.\nFast paced environment.\nEducation, and Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, and one year of work experience in the manufacturing industry utilizing hands-on technical skills and production processes.\nMust have reliable transportation.\nMust be punctual and available to work overtime.\nMust possess a strong work ethic and the ability to follow directions and complete tasks on schedule.\nEqual Opportunity Employer § Drug Free Workplace § Background Checks Conducted\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nAt Armorock, we know that when our employees thrive, our business thrives.
