This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong, early-career candidate who enjoys solving real problems and wants to make a direct and tangible impact on the business.\r\nYou will work alongside expert developers and portfolio managers, building systems, interfaces, and tools that support day-to-day portfolio management operations. We value clear thinking, strong fundamentals, and a proactive attitude over years of experience.\r\nKey Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of systems, interfaces, and tools that support portfolio management workflows\r\nCollaborate with portfolio managers and developers to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions\r\nIdentify, investigate, and resolve issues in existing tools and infrastructure\r\nMonitor and support production systems, responding to incidents and ensuring reliability\r\nContribute to code reviews, testing, and technical documentation\r\nContinuously improve team productivity by maximising modern development tools and practices\r\nWhat You'll Bring: Technical\r\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\r\nSolid practical experience in Python and/or C++\r\nGood working knowledge of Bash scripting and Linux environments\r\nFamiliarity with version control systems such as Git\r\nApproach & Working Style Strong analytical and logical thinking — you approach problems methodically and do not give up easily\r\nMeticulous with a high standard for the quality of your own work\r\nSelf-starter who takes ownership of problems and can work independently without constant direction\r\nComfortable leading multiple tasks and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment\r\nAbility to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and complex systems\r\nEffective and concise communicator in English, both written and verbal\r\nWays of Working Good working knowledge of Claude or other LLM ecosystems — understanding how to apply them effectively across the full development workflow, from problem analysis and debugging to solution design and documentation\r\nUses LLM tools with good judgment and critical thinking — not blind code generation, but as a genuine force multiplier for quality, speed, and clarity\r\nAble to bring this attitude to the broader team and contribute to raising overall productivity\r\nWhat We Offer: Direct exposure to real portfolio management systems and workflows\r\nA collaborative team where your contributions are visible and valued\r\nOpportunity to grow quickly in a technically demanding and intellectually stimulating environment\r\nBy submitting this application, you acknowledge and consent to terms of the WorldQuant Privacy Policy.
