Business Development Manager
Element has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager responsible for named accounts within a specific geographic area. In this role you will be responsible for pursuing sales opportunities to sell the full breadth of Element services within specified accounts in order to meet their assigned budget. You will support strategic or key accounts within your specified territory with any activities needed at local sites.Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.Core ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts while driving profitable growth through new business, dormant account re-engagement, and expansion of existing clients.Lead the full sales cycle including identifying opportunities, understanding customer testing needs, developing proposals, delivering presentations, negotiating, and closing business in partnership with technical and commercial teams.Utilize market intelligence, CRM tools, pipeline reviews, and reporting to drive territory performance while representing Element Materials Technology professionally and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Qualifications5 years of Technical experience with Sales responsibilitiesBachelors of Science in Material Sciences preferred but other four year degree will be consideredTesting, metallurgical or composites experience a plusExperience in interpreting testing procedures and requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Applications (Dynamics AX and CRM, Word, Excel)Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events / projects in the community, with customers and within the companyAbility to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple prioritiesWell-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needsGood interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respectAbility to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develops proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditionsAbility to travel up to 75% of the time; some overnight travel may be requiredAbout ElementElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
