{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"71aba345bbde7fb5f1716e8f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/71aba345bbde7fb5f1716e8f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/71aba345bbde7fb5f1716e8f","title":"Lead System Engineer","description":"Job Title: Lead System Engineer\nReports to: Manager, Systems Engineer\nLocation: Goleta, CA (remote position)\nResponsibilities Design and delivery of technical solutions used in product development and product line management processes which contribute to development of footwear and apparel brands.\nDesign and develop Product Lifecycle Technology (PLT) Solutions on PLT Platform.\nServe as FlexPLM development expert in partnership with other IT teams and internal departments to deliver technology solutions that meet system, and process needs of global organization.\nSupport day-to-day work of PLT team by offering help, advice and troubleshooting systems that have been implemented.\nCollaborate with PLT Product Team to understand requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions.\nCollaborate with PLT Support to resolve User Support issues.\nPerform code reviews and adhere to PLT coding guidelines.\nWork primarily in an Agile methodology and support projects delivered in Waterfall methodology.\nCommunicate with internal teams, business partners and collaborate within team environment to drive results.\nEmbrace new technologies and work with various tools and technologies to achieve desired functionality.\nQualifications Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study.\nWork Experience: 7 years of progressive experience implementing, configuring and customizing FlexPLM.\nSkills/Competencies: Experience with the following product development processes: line sheet management, bill of materials management, materials management and sample management.\nDeveloping applications using Java, Javascript, and JSP.\nBuilding REST APIs.\nUsing Eclipse and IntelliJ IDE for development.\nUsing version control tools such as SVN or GitHub.\nBreaking down customer / user experiences from functional requirements into technical requirements.\nBuilding SQL queries against a FlexPLM Database.\n\nSalary $187,678/year – the salary posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location.
