{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"71a318c7ea860797c758887e","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/71a318c7ea860797c758887e","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/71a318c7ea860797c758887e","title":"RF Engineer","description":"POSITION: RF ENGINEER\nLOCATION: Chatsworth, CA\nSHIFT: Day (7:00 am – 5:30 pm; Monday thru Thursday)\nRequirements:\nBASIC FUNCTIONS:\nThe RF Antenna Engineer will work with other Electrical Design Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Drafters in developing and supporting aviation antennas.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nBasic simulation of antennas in frequencies ranging from VHF to Ku-band in CST or HFSS\nTesting and verifying different Antennas in Anechoic chambers\nSupport production with production issues like ATP failures and troubleshooting\nAdditional responsibilities as they become necessary.\nEDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics\n1-3 years of work experience in RF industry\nWork experience in design and testing Antennas, OR Passive RF components and subsystems like combiner, splitter, isolator, attenuator…\nKnowledge of basic Antenna design theory, behavior and fundamentals\nBasic experience with EM simulation tools such as ANSYS HFSS, OR CST\nTheoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive components\nBasic working knowledge of RF/Microwave laboratory test equipment for testing of circuit and subsystems\n( i.e Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters etc.)\nExcellent written and verbal communication\nKnowledge of MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook.\nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.\nThe ability to work independently.
