apply engineering theory and principles to problems of industrial layout or manufacturing production.\nA typical manufacturing engineer has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints.\nJob Responsibilities:\nStudy time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency.\nInterpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.\nRead worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications.\nAid in planning work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays.\nPrepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.\nSkills:\nCreativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.\nTeam player and detail oriented.\nAbility to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.\nPrevious experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD).\nEducation/Experience:\nBachelor's degree in engineering required.\n5-6 years’ experience required.\nTypical Day in the Role\nTypical task breakdown and rhythm\nInteraction level with team\nWork environment description\nTypical task breakdown:\nAssist machine operators with machine faults, recoveries, and setups\nDocument process changes\nMaintain engineering documentation: Control plans, Tool lists, etc.\nTroubleshoot and correct causes for nonconforming parts\nCandidate Requirements\nYears of experience required\nDegrees or certifications required\nDisqualifiers\nPerformance indicators Education & Experience Required:\nBachelors in manufacturing engineering or equivalent degree and 5years experience is preferred\nAssociate degree and 6+ years’ experience acceptable\n10+ years’ experience with no education acceptable\nTechnical Skills\n(Required)\nCNC machine experience\nCNC machine troubleshooting experience\nIndicating a tool/part\nDemonstrated problem solving capability\n(Desired)\nG-code writing capability\nExperience with precision grinding and/or honing\nCAM experience\nJob Type:
