Network Engineer (Mid)

Location: Taylor, TXSalary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $50.00 USD HourlyDescription: OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to design, support, and maintain large-scale enterprise networks. This role is hands-on and requires strong expertise in Cisco technologies, network security, load balancing, and troubleshooting critical network issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and support secure and scalable enterprise networks using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switchesConfigure and maintain routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and EVPNDeploy and manage F5 load balancers, including traffic routing and performance optimizationAct as an escalation point for complex network issues, including L2/L3 connectivity, VPNs, and hardware failuresImplement and maintain network security controls, including firewalls, IPSec, 802.1x, and TACACS+Support multicast networking (PIM, MSDP, Anycast-RP) for real-time data delivery in manufacturing environmentsLead network upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal downtimeWork closely with internal teams, service providers, and vendors to resolve issues and manage RMAsCreate and maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and incident reportsMentor junior engineers and support team knowledge sharing and best practicesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field5+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level networksStrong experience with Cisco networking equipment (Catalyst, Nexus), firewalls, and load balancersIn-depth knowledge of routing, switching, and network troubleshootingExperience with multicast technologies in a manufacturing or high-availability environmentFamiliarity with network monitoring and diagnostics toolsStrong documentation skills, including incident reports and network strategy documentsCCNP Enterprise or CCIE certification (current or expired within the last 3 years)Ability to work onsite 5 days per week and live within a 1-hour commute of the office locationPreferred QualificationsExperience working in large manufacturing environments operating 24/7Knowledge of high-availability network designsExperience with server networking (LACP, VPC, NIC teaming)Hands-on experience with F5 load balancers and iRulesKnowledge of packet capture analysis and SSL certificatesCertifications in F5 or Palo Alto FirewallsFamiliarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic scripting or automation (Python, Ansible)Bilingual Korean and English skills preferredBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
