Rehab Aide - LGH Physical Therapy/Full Time Days

This position is responsible for the assistance and support in evaluation/ treatment of patients in the Acute Care and Acute Rehab settings. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma Preferred Qualifications: Clinical experience in hospital- based setting. Clinical experience as a rehab aide in another setting. Initiates set up for therapy intervention. Follows direction of therapists for providing patient care. Communicates and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and/or other departments in a consistent and timely manner. Under supervision of a licensed therapist, performs restorative program plan of care for patients that have a developed restorative program. Follows Centra infection prevention guidelines to clean/sanitize rehab equipment. Assists Manager and Supervisor with monitoring equipment inventory. Assists in maintaining therapy spaces to meet TJC guidelines. Follows Centra Values. Completion of mandatory yearly education for employment. Takes on responsibilities as timekeeper or patient scheduler. Assists Manager in departmental project that supports the clerical needs of the department. Preceptor to new employees. Other Functions: Performs other duties as assigned.
