Apply Today!!\n\nTitle: Material Handler\n\nLocation: Salinas, CA\n\nPay Rate: $21.00\n\nSchedule: AM/PM\n\nJob Summary\n\nUnder the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Forklift Driver has the responsibility to ensure all products are received and shipped meet or exceed those standards established by Latitude 36 Foods and its customers.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nFood manufacturing or packing industry experience preferred\nForklift certification required\nForklift experience required\nBilingual (Spanish/English) a plus\nExperience using RF scanning\n\nResponsibilities\n\nEnsure \\\"Safety First\\\" is always practiced and observes and adheres to all job safety rules.\nSupplies sufficient materials to production timely\nReceives and ships products according to warehouse policies and procedures\nEnsures accuracy according to order and customer specifications\nEnsures warehouse is always in SQF Audit readiness.\nAbility to drive the forklifts in a safe manner.\nFollow established SOPs for receiving, shipping, and production.\nAble to follow FIFO methodology when selecting product.\nUnderstanding of allergen and organic warehousing regulations.\nAble to complete required documentation per SOP.\nUtilize RF scanner while performing assigned tasks.\nAbide by ALL Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).\nResponsible for reporting Food Defense observations to Quality Teams\nOther duties as assigned by leadership\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nRepetitive lifting, push, pulling up to 50 pounds\nFrequent standing walking, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing stairs\nAbility to stand for long periods of time with extensive walking and working in refrigerated coolers (32*).\nNormal vision, hearing sensitivity and manual dexterity is necessary in position\n\nFull Steam Staffing will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act.
