Job Description: Customer Service Associate (Cashier) in Retail Convenience Store
We are currently seeking a customer service associate to join our team at our retail convenience store. As a customer service associate, you will be the face of our store and will be responsible for ensuring that every customer has a positive experience.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding the products they need
Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise as needed
Answer customer inquiries and provide information about our products and services
Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
Promote store loyalty programs and other promotions to customers
Follow all store policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service is preferred, but not required
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent
