Job Description As an Asphalt Crew Member, you will assist in the preparation, application, and finishing of asphalt surfaces for various construction projects. This role requires physical labor, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a team environment outdoors in varying weather conditions. Wage is subject to experience. Starting at $23 an hour. If you have a CDL starting wage is $27 an hour Key Responsibilities Assist in laying, raking, and compacting asphalt. Operate tools and small equipment such as asphalt rakes, tampers, shovels, and plate compactors. Prepare job sites including grading and setting up traffic control. Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area. Support the paving crew in all daily tasks as directed by the Foreman. Perform routine maintenance on equipment when necessary. Requirements Previous experience in asphalt or construction preferred (but not required). Ability to work in physically demanding conditions. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime. Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus). Team player with a strong work ethic. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs regularly and stand for long periods. Benefits Competitive hourly wage with overtime pay.
