Loan Operations Assistant Manager - Bismarck, NDBNC National Bank in Bismarck, ND is searching for a motivated and experienced Loan Operations Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our loan processing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflows, supporting lending staff, and helping drive continuous improvement across our Loan Operations function.If you're a collaborative leader who enjoys problem-solving, process improvement, and developing others—this is a great opportunity to make an impact!What You'll DoSupport daily loan processing operations and ensure timely, accurate workflowsAssist in training and mentoring loan processing staffPartner with leadership to implement procedures, improve processes, and enhance efficiencyPrepare and manage reporting (SBA 1502, FHLB, monthly reporting, etc.)Provide support with Loan Origination System administrationReview and resolve consumer credit bureau disputes in compliance with FCRAEnsure adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsStep in as a backup to the Loan Operations Manager as neededLeadership ResponsibilitiesHelp drive team performance and department goals aligned with organizational objectivesProvide clear communication, coaching, and ongoing support to team membersAssist with scheduling, workload delegation, and performance monitoringParticipate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new employeesFoster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team environmentWhat You BringStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsExcellent organization, time management, and attention to detailAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeQualificationsHigh School Diploma requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)5+ years of loan operations or loan processing experience required2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferredAt BNC National Bank, we're proud to foster a supportive and team-focused environment where employees are empowered to grow and succeed.
