We have been in business for over 25 years and our current area of focus includes industrial insulation, scaffolding, siding, and refractory services.\r\nBusiness Development Manager\r\nJob Title: Business Development Manager\r\nDepartment: Division 6 - Mesa, AZ\r\nReports to: Branch Manager\r\nManagement Role: Manager\r\nSalary TBD\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\nIdentify new Target leads and provide appropriate follow-up.\r\nPromote the services and products of Classic Industrial Services.\r\nResearch organizations to identify new leads and potential new markets, as well as research future planned projects.\r\nResearch the needs of other companies and identify the decision makers.\r\nContact potential clients to establish rapport and set up meetings.\r\nPlan and oversee new marketing initiatives.\r\nExamines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.\r\nAttend conferences, meetings, and industry events.\r\nPrepare PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.\r\nContact clients to inform them about new developments in the company's products.\r\nNegotiate sales.\r\nDevelop sales goals and ensure they are met.\r\nTraining personnel and helping team members develop their skills.\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree in business, marketing, construction management, or related area or equivalent.\r\n3+ years of successful sales experience in the Industrial Construction market.\r\nIndustrial Construction related: 3 years (Required)\r\nSuccessful Sales: 3 years (Required)\r\nMust have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.\r\n\r\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:\r\n\r\nEffective oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills.\r\nProficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).\r\nCreative talents and the ability to solve tough problems.\r\nIn-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.\r\nThe ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.\r\nSkill in prioritizing and successfully completing obligations.\r\nMust have strong attention to detail.\r\nExcellent time management and organization skills.\r\n\r\nRequired Travel\r\n\r\n50% (Preferred)\r\n\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\n\r\nWalk (move, traverse) Frequently\r\nUsed hands/fingers to handle or feel (operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, position) Frequently\r\nClimb (stairs, ladders) or balance (ascend/descend, work atop, traverse) Frequently\r\nTalk/hear (communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself, exchange information) Constantly\r\nSee (detect, determine, perceive, identify, recognize, judge, observe, inspect, estimate, asses) Constantly\r\nReaching: Often\r\n\r\nLifting Requirements\r\n\r\nUp to 50 pounds.\r\n\r\nHazards and Atmospheric Conditions\r\nThis position is primarily office based and most work is done in an office environment. Occasionally this position may require site visits to active construction sites. On a construction site, the employee may be required to climb ladders and walk in areas under construction.
