The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the USAID Vetting contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support USAID.\nRequirements:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReview and process 565-1 badge form requests, ensuring accuracy and proper information management for various personnel types, including OFDA personnel, ICs, PSCs, and PASAs.\nVerify and update information through SEC’s databases to ensure all security information is current and accurate.\nAssist in badge creation, handle physical access requests, and manage visitor and Distinguished Visitor (DV) requests.\nProvide escort services for visitors and high-profile personnel as needed.\nSupport the coordination and execution of Active Shooter trainings and other security-related drills.\nLearn and support other domestic security functions, including the oversight of physical security at various USAID locations.\nAssist with managing physical access control systems, CCTV systems, and alarm systems for security monitoring and response.\nPerform additional administrative and security-related tasks as required to support the team’s needs.\nEnter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.\nComplete and submit Monthly Status Reports (MSR) to the Project Manager by COB on the last working day of the month.\nComplete required compliance training as assigned.\nMonitor and respond to RavenTek email a minimum of 3 times per week.\nOther duties as assigned.\nMust live in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.\nQualifications, Knowledge, and Critical Skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).\nStrong written and oral communication skills.\nExceptional attention to detail, especially when processing badge requests and maintaining security records.\nAbility to collaborate with the security team and other internal and external stakeholders.\nFamiliar with physical access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems (preferred but not required; training provided).\nWillingness to learn and adapt to additional security functions as needed.\nMust be highly organized and driven with strong verbal communication skills.\nProficient in grammar, spelling, and punctuation is also required to produce printed materials accurately.\nArticulate and comfortable around senior personnel and dignitaries.\nMust understand basic protocols, i.e. rank, position, and authority.\nAbility to screen telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence.\nFamiliar with Google Suite tools, such as Gmail, Docs, Calendars, and Drive a plus.\nEducation & Work Experience\nMinimum of one year’s experience in related field, preferably with the federal government.\nExperience with administrative functions, particularly in a security or government-related setting.\nCertifications, Licenses\nN/A\nSpecial Requirements\nSecret security clearance required.\nWork Environment\nEmployee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.\nPhysical Demands\nTo successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds.
