Electrical Superintendent with Waste Water experience preferred.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Electrical Superintendent oversees and directs all on-site electrical operations for construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion. This role leads the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and serves as the primary on-site supervisor for all electrical field activities. The Electrical Superintendent supervises electricians and subcontractors, coordinates daily efforts with other trades, and maintains full compliance with safety and building codes.What You'll DoProject ManagementAssist with the development and management of project schedules and budgets.Track project progress to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.Complete weekly unit tracking, 12-week look-ahead schedules, daily reports, and weekly checklists.Safety & ComplianceEnsure all electrical work complies with local building codes, industry standards, and OSHA regulations.Conduct site inspections and maintain a safe working environment.Enforce company safety policies, including the “Zero Hot Work” policy.Maintain a current OSHA 30 certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire at the company’s direction and expense.Technical OversightProvide technical guidance and expertise to field teams.Interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical plans.Review and verify electrical specifications for accuracy and constructability.Team & Subcontractor CoordinationSupervise and coordinate electricians and subcontractors to ensure efficient work execution.Coordinate schedules with other trades and resolve field conflicts promptly.Manage performance, provide direction, and ensure accountability across all direct reports.Documentation & ReportingPrepare, review, and maintain accurate project documentation.Create daily and weekly progress reports and maintain clear project histories.ProcurementProvide timely material and equipment requests to the operations team to allow for proper pricing and avoid unnecessary delivery costs.Qualifications / ExperienceCurrent Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required)5–10 years of experience in electrical construction, with significant work on large-scale projects exceeding $5,000,000.Experience supervising multiple crews of at least 15 people.EducationHigh school diploma or GED required; a degree in a related field preferred. Technical SkillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols.Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.Leadership & Soft SkillsStrong leadership and communication abilities.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.Winning Behaviors and CompetenciesReal-time Communication is key to success: We will communicate real-time to our team members and clients.
