In this role, you will have the chance to work on projects including engineering and design of data centers and other mission‑critical facilities. This position is location flexible in the U.S.\n\nResponsibilities\nYou’ll provide design work, contribute to team technical collaboration, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with other portions of the design process. You may also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site. You and the other members of your electrical design team will work closely with the broader multi‑discipline team in a fast‑paced, dynamic, collaborative environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents. Your responsibilities will include engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in complex industrial facilities. Design may also include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate our clients’ continually evolving requirements. Additional responsibilities may include the management of quality, scope, budget and schedule.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering\n\nAt least 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus‑style power distribution including conveyance\n\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license\n\nExtensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design\n\nWorking knowledge of Revit or BIM software\n\nSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAt least 3 years of data centre facility design experience\n\nAnalytical and problem‑solving skills\n\nForward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas\n\nDisplayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base\n\nAbility to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams\n\nPassionate about buildings and construction\n\nExperience in the design of large projects established on greenfield sites\n\nBenefits\nOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
