As a member of our team, the selected candidate will plan, coordinate, and perform product design, testing and/or analysis work for a complete project of moderate scope or for a significant portion or a sub-system of a major and diverse project. Operate in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews. May assign, coordinate and review portions of the work to support personnel. Decisions are made within established guidelines and may be reviewed by supervisors.\n\nThis is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.\n\nDuties:\nSupport the development of tools & scripts for increasing efficiency and user experience in John Deere's Open RTOS based embedded software development.\nCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders including through daily user support.\nLead innovation efforts to define the next generation of tools used by the entire embedded development community.\n\nRequirements:\n3+ Years Experience in fields related to Computer Engineering/Computer Science.\nProficient in modern programming language such as C#, C++, or Java.\nDemonstrated experience with object-oriented software design and expertise in C.\nGood understanding of the embedded software development workflow from requirements to machine validation.\nDemonstrated experience in roles that required excellent communication and collaboration skills.\nGood written and verbal communication skills (English).\nBachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\nPreferred:\nExperiences with GNU Make and Python.\nKnowledge of CAN and UDS.\nAdvanced degree in an engineering discipline or computer science.\nExperience in software product delivery using agile software development processes.\n\nWhy work for Productive Resources?\n﻿\nProductive Resources is a full-service engineering firm with over two decades of experience serving leading global clients.
