Develop, modify and troubleshoot the software which operates current and new equipment.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAnalyze production processes, develop automation solutions\nConduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of robotic and electro-mechanical components or systems consisting of 6-axis robots, SCARA robots, multiple mobile robots, reconfigurable robots, and co-bots\nWrite software to control robotic systems for applications\nDesign, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes to incorporate into new and existing equipment\nResponsible for the application of automation engineering principles in the design, specification, construction, startup, and validation of process equipment\nDesign automated robotic systems to increase production volume or precision in high-throughput operations such as automated pick & place, sorting, moving, or stacking production materials\nBuild, configure, and test robots or robotic applications and use version control software to manage application development projects\nIntegrate robotics with peripherals such as PLCs or other equipment and install, calibrate, operate, and maintain robots\nDocument robotic application development, and engineering changes\nWrite Machine Instruction and Maintenance Procedure documents for production\nAssist with evaluation of robotic systems or prototypes and investigate mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems\nProvide technical support and training (including safety) to production personnel for robotic systems\nPerform all other duties as assigned\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\nA bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering and CAD software proficiency.\n5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nBenefits\nPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
