Join us and be a part of the new standard!Summary: This is a full-time Shop Technician position based out of the Lock Haven, PA Shop and reports to the shop supervisor position.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform skilled tasks including all levels of maintenance, repairs, and overhaulsComply with all company and customer policies and proceduresComplete appropriate paperwork as directedContinually hone and develop skills in line with technological advances in the industryDemonstrate and further develop leadership skillsMust be able to work in a team environment as a contributing team memberPresent a professional imageQualifications:Proficient in compressor and engine maintenanceTroubleshooting skills to general electronic and mechanical control problemsMust have mechanical aptitudeWilling to work set hoursRequired to pass all drug-related and background testingMust have full set of hand tools as defined by company standardsGood written and verbal communication skillsWilling to attend training classes and/or seminars as requiredShould have general computer skills and be capable of utilizing the computer as an appropriate diagnostic toolEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or GEDFormal vocational training is preferredThree to five years of compressor maintenance experienceCaterpillar and Waukesha engine experienceAriel, GE, and other gas compressor experienceEmissions controls, Control Panel and I&E experienceLanguage Skills:Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain an acceptable driving recordPhysical Demands:Often required to lift heavy objectsSpend long periods of time standingMust frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
