Remote Architect SNOW ITOM
Job OverviewWe are in search of a highly skilled SNOW ITOM Architect to become a vital part of our innovative team. In this remote position, you will utilize your extensive knowledge to conceptualize and implement robust IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions. You will collaborate closely with a variety of stakeholders to guarantee effective integration and operational efficiency across our systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSpearhead the design of ITOM solutions, applying leading industry practices tailored to meet the organization’s specifications.Provide expert guidance and configure integration solutions between ServiceNow and other Configuration Management Database (CMDB) tools to enhance system interoperability.Exhibit proficiency in CMDB design and architecture, demonstrating a deep understanding of the ServiceNow CMDB model and its extensions.Participate actively in development tasks, including creating and customizing discovery patterns, schedules, probes, sensors, and event rules.Facilitate the integration of ServiceNow ITOM modules with various enterprise monitoring and application management tools, employing out-of-the-box plugins and APIs to automate alerts effectively.Lead the implementation efforts for ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration use cases.Oversee third-party software integrations to augment ServiceNow functionalities.Customize and adapt ServiceNow forms, workflows, scripts, transform maps, service maps, and other configurations to align with best practices.Manage MID Server operations to ensure smooth functionality across multiple ServiceNow deployments.Take initiative in configuring and tailoring ServiceNow instances to uphold best practices.Required SkillsExtensive architectural knowledge across applications, infrastructure, databases, and networking, including distributed systems.Familiarity with contemporary web technologies and cloud computing frameworks, including SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and automation.Insight into Application and Technology Portfolio Management.Experience with discovery technologies (e.g., ADDM, TADDM, UD).Proficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, Xpath, and SNMP.Proven experience in developing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.Knowledge of Performance Analytics to improve service delivery.Capacity to design and modify ServiceNow Service Portal interfaces.Understanding of Domain Separation and process/data flow design across various domains.Familiarity with LDAP, Active Directory, and SSO implementations.Ability to conduct thorough reviews of existing setups and propose best practice recommendations.Competence in monitoring the health, usage, and compliance of ServiceNow systems to ensure optimal performance.In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow best practices, staying current with the latest enhancements.Expertise in HTML and Jelly scripting, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, etc.).QualificationsA minimum of 5 years of experience with ServiceNow.At least 8 years of experience in the IT sector.Required certifications include ServiceNow System Administrator Certification, CIS in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM.ITIL Foundations certification is preferred.A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Employment Type: Full-Time
