Job DescriptionVDA 6.3 Consultant1099-ICLocation: USLead and conduct VDA 6.3 process audits across manufacturing and supplier operationsSupport OEMs and Tier suppliers with audit preparation, gap assessments, and corrective actionsIdentify process risks, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities within production and quality systemsCollaborate with plant leadership, quality, engineering, and supplier teams to drive compliance and operational improvementsAssist with root cause analysis, CAPA implementation, and customer requirement alignmentProvide consulting support for launch readiness, manufacturing process optimization, and quality system improvements RequirementsCertified or experienced in VDA 6.3 Process AuditingStrong background in automotive manufacturing, quality, or supplier quality engineeringKnowledge of IATF 16949, Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA), and OEM standardsExperience supporting Tier 1/2/3 suppliers and OEM automotive environmentsStrong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
