Partnering across the enterprise, this role will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and optimizing CAI's Atlassian platform to support operational excellence and CAI's future growth. This position will be full‐time contract and remote. This is a 5‐month (with the potential to be extended) project‐based position.What You'll DoConfigure and build Jira projects, workflows, schemes, and automation rules aligned with CAI design standards and enterprise architecture guidelinesDesign and implement JSM service desks, portals, queues, and SLA configurations to support service delivery requirementsFacilitate requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate operational needs into Atlassian configurationsWrite and maintain Scriptrunner scripts, custom fields, and advanced configurations to extend platform capabilitiesEnsure consistent implementation of naming conventions, permission schemes, and governance standards across all Atlassian productsMentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers on Atlassian best practices, configuration patterns, and troubleshooting techniquesParticipate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectivesConduct code reviews and configuration reviews to maintain quality and adherence to standardsDocument technical specifications, configuration decisions, and operational procedures in ConfluenceCollaborate with CAI's Enterprise Architecture and IT Operations teams to ensure solutions align with broader technology strategySupport user acceptance testing and iterate on configurations based on stakeholder feedbackInterface with stakeholders to ensure business needs are delivered in accordance with strategic direction, project expectations, and business priorityWhat You'll NeedRequired:Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Atlassian products in a configuration, development, or administration capacityStrong expertise in Jira configuration including projects, workflows, schemes, screens, custom fields, and automation rulesDemonstrated experience designing and implementing Jira Service Management (JSM) service desks, portals, queues, and SLA configurationsProficiency in Confluence administration, space configuration, and documentation best practicesStrong ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutionsExcellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and business teamsAbility to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlinesPreferred:Experience with Scriptrunner for Jira including Groovy scripting, behaviors, listeners, and script fragmentsExperience with Jira Product Discovery (JPD) for product management and roadmappingExperience with Zephyr for test managementExperience with Rich Filters, Tempo, and Big Picture configurationExperience with Bitbucket for source control and CI/CD integrationMinimum of 2 relevant Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP‐620, ACP‐610, ACP‐120)Experience in a staffing, professional services, or SLED‐focused organizationFamiliarity with SOC 2 compliance requirementsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferredPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre‐employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111.$70 - $100 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
