Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) - Indiana (OH/KY a Plus)Forefront Surveying + EngineeringForefront Surveying + Engineering is seeking a licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who brings strong technical expertise and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work while collaborating with a dedicated survey team.The ideal candidate will have experience in conventional surveying, digital terrain modeling, reality modeling, GPS processing, 3D data collection and processing, ALTA/NSPS surveys, topographic surveys, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and manage land surveying tasks for civil development and construction projectsCollaborate with field crews and office technicians to deliver accurate and timely resultsReview and certify survey work, including plats, legal descriptions, and mapping deliverablesProcess and analyze field data using industry-standard softwareSupport project teams to ensure work is completed on time, within scope, and to Forefront quality standardsMaintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external clientsEnsure all work meets applicable regulations and company expectationsQualifications Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Indiana (required)Ohio and/or Kentucky licensure (or ability to obtain) is a strong plusProficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft OfficeComprehensive knowledge of ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, and construction surveyingAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyStrong communication and collaboration skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workWhat We're Looking For A dependable professional who takes ownership of their workSomeone who values accuracy and understands the importance of getting it rightA team-oriented individual who collaborates well and supports othersA problem-solver who can identify issues and contribute to effective solutionsWhy Forefront?At Forefront Surveying + Engineering, we value precision, accountability, and teamwork.
