In order to give a quality education, we cap our classrooms at 11 students, so that each student can receive the time and attention they need to reach their highest potential.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site position located in Owosso, MI. As a Kindergarten Teacher at Spring Vale Christian School, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering engaging and age-appropriate instruction, and fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment for young children. Daily tasks include teaching core subjects, assessing students’ progress, collaborating with other teachers and staff, and maintaining clear communication with parents or guardians. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the academic and personal growth of each child by offering support, encouragement, and guidance in their early development stages.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Elementary Education or enrolled in a program working towards a degree in Elementary Education (must have completed at least 30 credit hours towards degree).Love for the Lord and willingness to share his love with the studentsHeart of ministry and a passion for teaching young childrenAbility to deliver engaging lessonsStrong verbal and written Communication skillsPatience, adaptability, and flexibilityAbility to work collaboratively with a team
