We’re looking for a computer engineer with DSP experience who can use their skills to develop and demonstrate new and novel capabilities to guide the Army toward new technical solutions. Our areas of interest include signal receive and blind demodulation techniques, signal isolation and identification, waveform, complex signal generation, and adaptive techniques.\n\nOur team develops initial implementations of emerging ideas to address Electromagnetic Spectrum Battle Management. That’s why we need you, a computer engineer with a solid background in signal processing, to help us implement radio communication capabilities. You’ll work in a lab environment to develop functionality for demonstration and delivery to our client. You’ll directly impact the future of electromagnetic spectrum and electronic warfare by demonstrating state-of-the-art techniques to guide the client’s understanding of what is possible. The world can’t wait.\n\nYou Have:\n\nExperience with wireless communications systems and signal processing theory and application\n\nExperience with Linux, C, C++, or Rust\n\nExperience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) toolkits and standards such as GNUradio and Ettus UHD\n\nExperience with Signal Processing Techniques and RF Theory\n\nExperience with embedded software development, code optimization, and multi-threading\n\nKnowledge of DSP and DSP algorithm development\n\nAbility to travel regionally up to 25% of the time\n\nAbility to obtain a Secret clearance\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering\n\nNice If You Have:\n\nExperience with Machine Learning techniques, implementation, and signal classification\n\nExperience with ARM Microprocessors\n\nExperience with RF equipment and testbeds, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators\n\nExperience with signal, waveform, and technique development tools such as MATLAB or LabView\n\nExperience with Git and the Agile Software Development process\n\nExperience with FPGAs and VHDL or Verilog\n\nTop Secret clearance\n\nClearance:\nApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\n\nCompensation:\nSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
