Apply today!\nJOB SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Process Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing processes and engineering functions.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:\nWrite manufacturing processes and enter in Epicor software. Work with the engineering group on machine processes and tooling.\nInterface with department supervisors and machinists on a regular basis.\nUtilize customer supplied CAD files when available to process manufacturing plan.\nUtilize CAD to create work holding and fixturing layouts.\nInterface with CNC programmers.\nNotify Tool Crib of upcoming jobs.\nDevelop queuing system for kits ready to set up.\nVerify tooling is available for jobs and ensure back-ups are available.\nCoordinate all projects as they progress through the shop.\nMonitor profitability as jobs are running.\nExpedite any materials and components for jobs to ensure jobs stay on schedule.\nComplete routing for customer jobs.\nWork with engineering group and manufacturing to develop tooling and fixturing concepts for all new work.\nUpdate all processes during and after production.\nWork with manufacturing to ensure processes are being followed, and to incorporate time saving methods when suggested.\nInvestigate and provide disposition on discrepant/quality issues for jobs assigned.\nReview assigned jobs with department manager at hand-off and when ready to move to the floor.\nPromote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILS, AND ABILITIES With a quality work ethic, functions as a member of a customer-driven quality team whose goal is to ensure that product quality requirements established by the customer have been achieved.\nHolds oneself accountable for doing whatever is needed to meet the commitments made around project outcomes.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible.\nFamiliarity with all aspects of manufacturing including material specifications, turning, milling, heat treat, welding, plating and painting.\nAnalytical and reasoning skills.\nProficiency with 3-D modeling software packages, Autodesk Inventor.\nProficiency with Microsoft Windows.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or equivalent required\nCollege degree preferred, but not required\n10 years of machining or manufacturing experience required\nThree years of job processing experience required\nJOB BENEFITS Vacation\nSick Days\nHolidays\nHealth Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\nVoluntary Disability Insurance\n401(k) Plan with Company Match\nAccording to the New York Pay Transparency law, pay range for this job is $29.00 - $43.00 / hour.
