This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the VDC project database and ensuring the efficient integration of processes and software across regional and national projects.\nThis is a fully remote role that will support the Waterworks Virtual Design & Construction team from anywhere in the continental United States. Our ideal candidate would be in the Eastern or Central time zone. The shift for this role is a typical day working schedule.\nKey duties will include but not be limited to:\nMaintaining the VDC database, including data input, storage, and retrieval, to ensure the accuracy of project information.\nProviding comprehensive technical support for various software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.\nCollaborating with the internal team on current processes and advising in implementing BIM/VDC processes.\nCoordinating with customers on job set-up and standard processes for preconstruction requirements.\nCreating drawings and BIM models while maintaining VDC standards, processes, and workflows.\nAssisting in creating and maintaining standard regional and national templates and families.\nSetting up and building models for the team to meet project requirements and deadlines.\nHandling internal billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely billing record-keeping.\nRepresenting the organization to customers, associates, and leadership as needed.\nIdentifying and gathering necessary documentation to complete VDC projects.\nMeeting and proactively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.\nMaintain a high-level of mechanical aptitude and construction knowledge.\nParticipating in the modeling of waterworks projects, as required.\nAnalyzing and tracking key business processes within the team.\nInteracting with customers on various construction projects.\nQualifications\nExperience in maintaining and managing VDC databases, while ensuring the accuracy of project information.\nA bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, architecture, or similar field is preferred.\nKnowledge in creating and maintaining standard regional and national templates and families.\n2+ years of related experience in virtual design and construction, contracting, or engineering.\nFamiliarity with standard business processes and accurate billing record-keeping workflows.\nA high degree of integrity, superior attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.\nUnderstanding of gathering necessary documentation to complete VDC projects.\nRequires a fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.\nAbility to discuss projects with customers and facilitate open communication.\nStrong analytical skills for tracking key business processes within the team.\nProficiency with Autodesk software and Microsoft Office programs.\nStrong time management and organizational skills are essential.\nDemonstrate effective presentation and writing skills.\nStrong work ethic and great interpersonal skills.\nWaterworks experience is highly preferred.\nAbility to work in a team environment.\nRevit Software is highly preferred.\nAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
