Mechanical Assembler(2nd Shift, Full-Time)
$19.00$23.00/hour + $1.50/hour Shift Premium
Schedule: MondayThursday, 2:00pm12:00amPOSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Team Lead or Plant Management Team, theMechanical Assemblerwill support various task of the warehouse.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Material handling, shot blasting, parts washing, janitorial, cylinder assembly-test-paint and product packaging, CNC & robotic tending, submerged arc weld under operator supervision.
2. Maintenance support to load and unload parts.
3. Chip and Grind weld joints.
4. Labor assistant to other operators.
5. Pick-up and/or deliver parts/assemblies to customers or vendors.
6. Make prints for shop packets up in engineering.
7. Assist with the inventory control of material, parts and assemblies in the department.Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
1. Excellent attendance record.
2. Must be a team player who will work well with all departments and employees.
3. Possess good organization skills.
