Senior Project Manager
Position Overview: Responsible for all aspects of solution delivery, inclusive of hardware, software, installation, training coordination, UAT testing facilitation, go live, transition to post go live support and overall project schedule, status, budget, and risk tracking and reporting. Lynxis solutions include software and device level components that require an aptitude for understanding and conveying, to internal & external customers, explanations of technical options so that everyone can make informed operational decisions. Exceptional project management skills are necessary as the role requires the coordination of operational, project, hardware design and software resources and activities to achieve accelerated resolution of issues. Ultimately, through proactive project management, customer satisfaction will be achieved and maintained.You should be responsible, motivated, self-starter who is able to work alone as well as in a team environment and exemplify Lynxis Core Behaviors: ownership, positive attitude and people oriented.Sr. Project Manager Responsibilities: Responsible for managing strategic solution deliveries that include Deployment of Software Application and Vision Technology for automated gate operations at Rail and Intermodal facilities.Collaborate with key contacts and technical leadership to execute custom statements of work.Control scope management from Sale through Project Acceptance. Build and foster relationships with external clients for proactive communication for project status and delivery coordination throughout the project.Develop project plans, manage project costs and resources, enforce change management strategies, and drive successful project delivery and closure. Identify and communicate dependencies, risks, assumptions, constraints and impacts to a project. Work within the dynamics of cross- functional teams to facilitate collaboration.Monitor work progress and escalate/resolve concerns with meeting project goals, schedules, or technical / operational issues as appropriate.Create efficiencies by driving improvements to repeatable processes and templates to ensure standardization where possible.Other duties as assigned.Sr. Project Manager Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience managing software implementations for an external customer base.Prefer experience related to the Intermodal/Trucking/Transportation Industry, and/or vision technology Solution Delivery Projects. PMP certification or willingness to obtain certification within 1 yr of hire.Microsoft Project/Office experience is required.ERP/commercial software implementation experience required.Successful candidates are innovative, persuasive, creative, and have a genuine curiosity into their clients’ business.
