This position focuses on Modeling & Simulation (M&S) tasks using the Advanced Framework for Simulation Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) to support electronic warfare (EW) and broader electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) initiatives. The role includes model development, scenario scripting, and data analysis in collaboration with experienced engineers and analysts.\n________________________________________\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in developing and executing AFSIM-based simulation scenarios to support system assessments and mission-level analysis.\nWork with senior engineers to integrate AFSIM outputs with complementary tools such as STK, NGTS, or Builder.\nSupport model-based systems engineering (MBSE) efforts by applying structured modeling approaches to simulation requirements and outputs.\nAnalyze simulation results, document outcomes, and assist in preparing reports and technical briefings.\nCollaborate with government and contractor teams to align modeling efforts with customer objectives.\nApply programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++) to automate scenario generation, data extraction, or visualization tasks as needed.\n________________________________________\nMinimum Qualifications:\n2–5 years of relevant experience in modeling and simulation, ideally with AFSIM or similar simulation tools.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.\nWorking knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, C/C++, or similar).\nExperience supporting DoD programs or defense analysis efforts.\nMust hold an active Secret clearance (minimum); TS/SCI preferred.\nWillingness to work fully on-site at Crane, IN and collaborate with a multidisciplinary technical team.\n________________________________________Desired Skills:\nExposure to MBSE tools or methodologies (e.g., SysML, MagicDraw, Cameo).\nFamiliarity with mission-level or constructive simulation environments.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, especially in a technical context.\nExperience interpreting simulation data and producing clear, actionable reports.\nInterest in developing deeper expertise in EW and EMSO applications.\n________________________________________Why Join Us?________________________________________Equal Employment Opportunity:The Amatriot Group and Insperity provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
