Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trailsPrepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projectsLead client relations, stakeholder management, and sub consultant coordinationCoordinate and work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projectsTake ownership of projects from start to finishQualifications, Skills, And Competencies: Professional Civil Engineering certification (P.E.)10+ years experience in Roadway DesignBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or universityKnowledge and experience with Microstation OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineeringExperience with WSDOT/ITD's plan preparation procedures and standardsHydraulics and traffic experience is a plusWillingness to work on projects locally or through workshare with other officesPossess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgetsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and managementSelf-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skillsA desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goalWhy Would A Candidate Want This Job?
