This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, engineering, project management, and field teams to ensure RFID implementations are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business requirements. The Implementation Manager owns solution design activities, translating operational needs into scalable, reliable technical architectures, and acts as the customer interface for data integration requirements. Lead end-to-end implementation of RFID deployments across customer sites, including planning, coordination, execution, and go-live supportServe as the primary technical and operational point of contact during customer deploymentsCoordinate with internal teams and external partners to manage installation schedules, site readiness, and hardware/software setupOversee system testing, validation, and customer acceptance to ensure performance and accuracy standards are metIdentify, track, and mitigate deployment risks, issues, and dependenciesDesign RFID solutions based on customer requirements, use cases, and operational workflowsCreate detailed solution designs, including hardware selection, tag strategy, reader placement, network considerations, and software integrationTranslate business and functional requirements into clear technical documentation and implementation plansProvide technical guidance and best practices for customer development of REST APIs and system integrationsSupport troubleshooting, optimization, and stabilization efforts post-deploymentHow You Will Do ItPartner closely with product, engineering, sales, project management, and customer success teams to ensure consistent solution deliverySupport pre-sales and discovery activities by providing technical input, solution recommendations, and feasibility assessmentsCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupport customer training, documentation, and knowledge transfer initiatives to ensure deployment readinessTrack implementation progress, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent deploymentsMaintain accurate technical documentation, diagrams, and deployment recordsCapture post-implementation lessons learned and provide feedback to improve processes, tools, and product capabilitiesEnsure all solutions align with Johnson Controls best practices, scalability guidelines, and company standardsWhat We Look For (Required Qualifications)Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution implementation, systems integration, or technical project deliveryHands-on experience with RFID technologies and associated hardware and software ecosystemsStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, systems integration, and enterprise software deploymentsProven ability to design, document, and implement technical solutionsStrong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of REST APIs and API testing tools such as PostmanPreferred QualificationsExperience deploying RFID solutions in retail, manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, or supply chain environmentsFamiliarity with site surveys, RF performance tuning, and environmental considerationsExperience in customer-facing roles or professional services organizationsKnowledge of cloud-based platforms, APIs, and data integration architecturesKey Skills & CompetenciesSolution design and systems thinkingTechnical troubleshooting and root-cause analysisStrong written and verbal communication skillsCustomer-focused mindset with a consultative approachAbility to manage multiple implementations simultaneouslyCross-functional collaboration and leadershipTravel RequirementsAbility to travel to customer sites as needed to support deployments and site assessments (up to 25%)HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000-117,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
