Here’s a snapshot of what we offer:\n\nMedical + Prescription Drug\n401(k) Retirement Savings\n\nFollow all plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures while reporting potential safety hazards\n\nPerforming housekeeping functions to help keep machinery functioning; reduce safety hazards and maintain the appearance of the plant.\nPulls bad sheets and strips off the line, separates double-stacked sheets\nEnsures veneer of proper grade specification is delivered to the appropriate grade bin, LVL Department, and/or to outside customers\nTroubleshoot, correct, and report maintenance issues on plant equipment\nPerform minor routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs to ensure machine reliability.\nGeneral cleaning, machine operation, loading and unloading, stacking, product grading, operating a forklift, and any other tasks as business demands.\nPerform multiple and varied tasks in the production environment to meet goals and by creating a safe work environment for all employees.\nContribute to a team environment by cross-training and filling in for operators during absences.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent\nAt least six (6) months of experience in manufacturing, farming, agriculture, landscaping, carpentry, mechanical, construction, warehouse, or military environment\nExperience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions\nWilling and able to work any shift, holidays, weekends, and overtime\nWilling and able to work a rotating twelve (12) hour shift (days and nights)\nWilling and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment\nWilling and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.\nWilling and able to wear safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, and other PPE as required by specific jobs\nWilling and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAt least one (1) year of experience working as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment\nExperience operating a forklift\nExperience working in lumber or wood products\nExperience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing environment\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
