Logistics Technician III (Swing Shift)

Logistics Technician III Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - 22.85/hr (DOE) Employment Type: Contract (6 Months, Potential Extension) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM EST (B Shift) Location: Fairport, NY 14450 (100% Onsite) Tekberry is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Logistics Technician III to work on-site with our client in Fairport, NY. This is a contract opportunity supporting logistics, production support, and material movement operations within a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Tekberry offers a $100 payment for referrals! Position Summary The Logistics Technician III supports production and warehouse operations through material handling, logistics coordination, inventory movement, production support tasks, and facility sanitation activities. This role works closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport daily logistics and production support operations in compliance with work instructions and proceduresMove materials and complete transactions within production and manufacturing systemsPrepare materials for production and logistics activitiesPerform warehouse and production support functions including picking, staging, and inventory movementUtilize Vertical Lift Modules (VLM) and mobile racking systems for material retrieval and storageOperate pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyPerform scheduled van runs between Fairport facilities to transport materials and partsMaintain accurate documentation and update records within plant systems and manufacturing execution systemsSupport building sanitation and maintain a clean, organized work environmentTrain and support team members on operational procedures and responsibilitiesFollow all PPE, safety, and cleanroom protocols Qualifications Required:High School Diploma or GEDValid driver's license1-2+ years of work experienceAbility to work independently and within team environmentsStrong organizational and communication skillsComfortable working in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environmentsAbility to lift and move materials as needed throughout shift Preferred:Warehouse, shipping, logistics, or production support experienceSAP experienceExperience working in cleanroom or manufacturing environmentsExperience using inventory systems, VLM systems, or warehouse tracking systems Work EnvironmentCleanroom and manufacturing environmentPPE required including safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, frocks, and facemasksFrequent standing, walking, and movement throughout facilityMaterial movement between buildings required throughout shiftExposure to warehouse and production operations Additional NotesITAR/DOD compliant role - candidates must be US Citizens or US NationalsDriver's license required due to regular van runs between Fairport facilitiesPotential for assignment extension based on business demand We need hard-working, reliable employees.
