This position will be working on our new Paint building here in Georgetown. We need to work with contractors to install all the paint equipment.\n\nIndustrial electricity\n\nCan do calculations and recommendations on breaker sizes, confirming calcs from other contractors and vendors.\n\nReview 2d electrical drawings\n\nDoing installs and familiar with PAC codes.\n\nI am looking more for an Electrical Engineer rather than an Electrician. Electricians sometimes do what we are looking for but not always. Need to be 10+ years as a master electrician before they would understand the engineered part of the role.\n\nIndustrial Power Distribution / system design experience\n\nWe give specs / requirements to building group and they build the building. What I need this engineer to do is to understand how it comes through a subsystem/station through a breaker, etc.\n\n480- 3 phase and power distribution within a plant.\n\nGive me recommendations as to why we need this many distribution panels and this many breakers.\n\nWe have rectifiers that change amperage and voltage. So, understanding DC voltage is a benefit.\n\nWhy is electrical relevant to Paint?\n\nPaint is charged under water making it grounded. Paint is attracted to the body of the car because it’s grounded and that’s why paint sticks.\n\nCompletely onsite position. Need someone local. Open to non-local resumes.\n\nRequired experience/skill\n\nBS In Engineering, Technical Trader Certification or equivalent experience\n\n3+ years manufacturing environment\n\n3+ years project management\n\nMicrosoft Office Software proficient\n\nBid Spec development, Contractor negotiation\n\n2+ years Technical Drawing experience\n\n2+ years Industrial Power Distribution/System Design\n\nNFPA 70/79\n\nNice to Have\n\nAbility to understand and calculate utility cost\n\nUnderstanding of PLC operation & programming (Toyota PUC, Omron, Allen-Bradley)\n\nUnderstanding of PLC communication (FLNet, Ethernet)\n\nUnderstanding of OT/IT networking BSEE\n\nToyota project management experience\n\nAutomotive paint process experience\n\nAutoCAD proficient\n\nNFPA70E/77\n\nOSHA 10/30\n\nDescription\n\nInvestigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget\n\nCreate scope of work, bid package and project specifications\n\nReview technical drawings, provide feedback, negotiate changes\n\nEvaluate electrical power systems\n\nEvaluate electrical and safety compliance to local and national codes\n\nCollaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors\n\nEvaluate Power distribution, breaker size, Amp draw, SCCR, Panel Loading\n\nSpecify/Confirm electrical components for industrial equipment\n\nCollaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones\n\nSupervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment\n\nCoordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers and equipment manufacturers\n\nDevelop countermeasures for project delays for timely project completion\n\nTalented, dedicated people are an integral part of our mission to build the best workforce, working together to create the future of mobility and make the world a better place.
