This position supports the overall appearance and functionality of assigned buildings by ensuring that all custodial duties are completed in accordance with established standards and schedules.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPerform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing assigned areas.\nClean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, offices, hallways, and other common areas.\nEmpty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.\nReplenish restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.\nReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.\nFollow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.\nSupport special cleaning projects or deep cleaning activities as assigned.\nAssist with floor care duties as needed based on operational needs.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nPrevious custodial or janitorial experience.\nAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.\nAbility to safely operate basic custodial equipment.\nGood communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and visitors.\nAttendance is a requirement to be successful in this position.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.\nAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks and work in varying conditions.\n\nWork Environment and Schedule\n\nWork is performed in a variety of settings and may involve exposure to cleaning products, equipment, and varying conditions. The role requires regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting, along with the use of cleaning tools and machinery. This position is scheduled for second-shift hours.
