We are early adopters in construction technology and pride ourselves on our commitment to leveraging technology into value for our customers and construction partners.\nCurrently, we are seeking an experienced Job Superintendent for commercial projects ranging from Multi-Family, Assisted Living, Industrial/Warehouse, Retail and Hospitality.\nThis individual will work closely with the ownership and senior project managers to implement successful construction projects that are on budget, on time, and per plans and specs.\nThis position will be based out of our work territory that primarily includes West-Central Minnesota but may also include the MPLS-St Paul metro area, outstate MN and Fargo Moorhead area. A sample of our past projects and locations can be found at ciconstruction.com.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelopment and management of the project schedule. Including communicating schedule with contractors and receiving buy in.\nConducting weekly on-site construction meetings\nSetup and maintenance of on-site facilities\nTracking and approval of time and material contracts and work orders\nEnsuring adherence to project plans and specs.\nMaintaining all on-site drawings and project documents\nAssisting Project Managers with procurement as needed\nExecuting company inspection check lists\nExecuting of daily log\nCoordinating with owner and project manager to ensure client concerns and requests are being addressed\nEnsuring that contractors are following related codes, safety and trade standards per their contract\nEnsuring that work involving multiple trades is being properly coordinated\nCoordinating and communicating with Project Manager on Project budget.\nMonitoring use of company resources such as equipment and temporary facilities\nCoordinating with Project Manager to implement company project staff including Assistant Job Superintendents, Project Engineer, and Project Administrator.\nExecuting constructability review with project management to ensure plans and specifications are buildable, efficient, and to code\nPreferred candidates will have the following:\nOutstanding communication skills\n10 years experience in related projects, such as: warehouse, multi-family, hospitality, mixed-use, industrial, or retail.\nSelf-Starter with ability to meet deadlines and focus on multiple tasks.\nSuperb time management and schedule management.
