Respiratory Therapy Technician Location: Bemidji, MN Agency: Concentric Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location Bemidji, MN Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 8 and 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends Key Responsibilities Perform ventilator management, nebulizer treatments, BiPAP/CPAP therapy, and bedside spirometry Conduct EKGs using Mortara EKG carts and operate Drager ventilators, Respironics BiPAP/CPAP, Smart Vest, and Microneb equipment Provide competent respiratory care across all patient age groups including pediatric, obstetric, and adult populations Float and provide coverage across multiple hospital departments including ED, ICU, Med/Surg, Peds, OB, and Family Care areas Document patient care accurately using computerized charting and utilize the Pyxis medication system Prioritize daily duties effectively while communicating clearly with the interdisciplinary care team Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program Active Minnesota Respiratory Care Practitioner license or willingness to obtain upon offer acceptance BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS and NRP certifications required Demonstrated competency in care and treatment of patients across all age groups Proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and spirometry devices Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience working in a multi-department hospital setting including ICU, ED, and pediatric care areas Familiarity with computerized charting systems and Pyxis medication management Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us Opportunity to work across a diverse range of clinical departments within a 117-bed facility, broadening your respiratory therapy experience Structured orientation program covering hospital and department-specific policies, equipment, and computer systems to support a smooth transition
