Multi-Family Construction Superintendent

Construction Superintendent This is a Multi-Family project in the Huntsville area in Alabama with an exciting growing company. Currently, we have 12 years of committed projects. We are looking for the right Superintendent that values teamwork and a large company with a family feel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for supervising construction activities and ensuring quality control of all construction activities. Supervising project team members, who perform the actual construction. Overseeing quality control of all finished goods including: (1) Inspecting, evaluating, and evaluating new products for quality assurance and (2) Providing input on new product design and development. Coordinating with Project Managers, Quality Control Specialists, Project Engineers, and other Project Supervisors to ensure project success. Developing a thorough understanding of all aspects of the construction activities including but not limited to: Project Information Systems; estimating activities; field staff; equipment operation; and other related activities. Excellent communication skills that enable him or her to interact with employees, customers, vendors, and construction crews. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the night is always dark until the job is done.
