The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies. Modeling and Simulation Engineers develop simulations which emulate various threat system components and physical environment with which they interact.\nResponsibilities:\nContributing team member solving highly technical problems in the area of EW technologies.\nProficient in running existing and interpreting simulation codes in various operating systems and languages (i.e. Linux, MATLAB/C++).\nDevelop models of microwave (RF) propagation and associated devices.\nDevelop models of missile aerodynamics and control.\nExcellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.\nAbility to model electromagnetic field interactions using software.\nMinimum two (2) years of experience.\nProficient with a programming language (MATLAB, Python, C/C++).\n\nDesired:\nMaster’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field.\nUnderstanding of missile aerodynamics and control.\nFive (5) years of experience.\nExperience with electromagnetic modeling software (e.g. HFSS and ADS)\nExperience with radar systems.\n\nSecurity Clearance\nActive Secret.\nAbout i3:\nHeadquartered in Huntsville, AL, i3 is a national leader in providing innovative technical and engineering solutions to a broad customer base across the U.S. DoD.
