Apply today.Position SummaryAlong with building doors, this job includes organizing product, hinging jambs, hanging doors, assisting packagers, quality inspections, ensuring count accuracy, cleaning work area.Essential FunctionsCheck incoming and outgoing product for quality. Pull material to prepare for shipment. Visually check species and style of product. Visually check for defects:Machine/prep doors for building. Knowledge of product, proper handling techniquesProper use of machinery in department. Forklifts, saws, wrapping devices, etc. Hinge jambs, Hang door, Apply brick mold and claddingAssist packagingOperate Kval and FullHouse door hanging stationQualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDTwo years' experience in manufacturing environmentSkills And AbilitiesAbility to be highly organized and able to keep jobs together. Ability to interact with machining, receiving, pulling and finishing department team members. Ability to track paperwork, including pick tickets and purchase orders. Ability to access information from the computer, including: pick ticket delivery dates and information, purchase order arrivals and information, and customer information. Ability to communicate with supervisors and team members of other departments to coordinate information on a customer’s order. A high sense of urgency and a willingness to work as a team, not as an individual. Ability to understand the nature of wood species and veneers along with their individual characteristics in both sanding and finishing.
