{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"704000cdfd7ea3bbcba913a7","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/704000cdfd7ea3bbcba913a7","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/704000cdfd7ea3bbcba913a7","title":"Electrical Inspector","description":"MWH Constructors' Construction Management Services (CMS) group is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Electrical Inspector for project work in Southern California.\nEssential Functions\nProvide single-point field inspection of Contractor’s work representing the Construction Manager in the field.\nOn a daily basis monitor and record all work scope being executed and prepare a comprehensive Daily Report with measurement of daily quantities completed and resources utilized.\nUnderstand contract documentation and test plan for the designated Work Package.\nReview, analyze and record any construction issues potentially resulting in a scope, time or cost impact to the work of the Contractor which may result in a change to the contract.\nEnsure master As-built drawing information is being maintained by Contractor.\nAttend, as necessary, Weekly Progress Meetings with Contractor, including review of progress to planned schedule.\nDevelop project specific quality control and assurance documents and standards for projects that are under development.\nPlan and coordinate all field testing and inspections in accordance with the Contract Documents.\nDocument compliance and non-compliance with established quality control and quality assurance procedures.\nWork with Construction Manager to implement methodology and criteria to resolve any non-compliance notices previously issued.\nReview and submit all test reports for inclusion in turnover documentation to Owner.\nPrepare written reports documenting QA/QC inspections, non-compliance notices, and corrective actions.\nBasic Qualifications\nMinimum of 10 years of relevant construction industry & inspection experience in industrial water/wastewater facilities and/or public utility projects.\nThorough understanding of construction safety, quality control and general contract management requirements necessary.\nPreferred Qualifications\n10+ years of relevant construction industry & inspection experience.\nExperience with large water & wastewater treatment plants.\nICC Certification in Electrical/I&C Inspection.\nExperience with PGE and Green Book knowledge\nCompensation\nThe total hourly rate is $91.27 per the General Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) made by the Director of Industrial Relations.\nBenefits\nGroup health & welfare benefits including options for medical, dental and vision\n100% Company Paid Benefits: Employee Life Insurance & Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Spouse and Dependent Life & AD&D, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Employee Assistance Program and Health Advocate\nVoluntary benefits at discounted group rates for accidents, critical illness, and hospital indemnity\nFlexible Time Off Program (includes vacation and personal time)\nPaid Sick and Safe Leave\nPaid Parental Leave Program\n10 Paid Holidays\n401(k) Plan (company matching contributions up to 4%).\nEmployee Referral Program\nMWH Constructors is a global project delivery company in heavy civil construction with a focus on water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
