Automotive Detail Specialist/Helper

Automotive Detailer RJ’s Auto is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team Summary: Automotive Detailer Specialists/Helpers are responsible for the exterior and interior cleaning of customer and company vehicles, organizing the vehicle lot, checking-in of the customer vehicles, and assisting in prep-work of vehicles. Responsibilities: Uses appropriate supplies & equipment to perform cleaning of vehicles. Cooperate with and assist the Refinish Department with prep-work of vehicles for paint (disassemble body parts, sand, mask, tape, etc.) Review Repair Order for scope of work, and make changes for additional work needed and/or work not completed Prepare vehicles and parts for primer and final paint application Assist in staging materials and necessary tools to execute each work activity Buff and/or clean surfaces after all intermediate coats of paint Polish final coat of paint Transport and move vehicles as needed Maintain clean and safe work area(s) Performs other duties as assigned Checks-in customer vehicles Organizes the parking lot to allow for an efficient work-flow Assists with vehicles being towed-in and towed-out Reports any repair or paint discrepancies of completed jobs to the corresponding department or management Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent Valid Full Driver’s License Previous experience is a plus Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction of given assignments Able to manage time wisely and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be detail oriented Must be able to work under pressure Ability to multi-task and be organized Benefits: Opportunity for pay raise through performance appraisals Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Paid leave Employee Discount Opportunity for "cross-training" promotion to other departments Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $13.25 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekends as needed License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
