Job DescriptionHarrah's Cherokee Casino Resort Position DescriptionPOSITION TITLE: Table Games TechnicianDEPARTMENT: Games PerformanceGRADE/FLSA STATUS: H13-Non-ExemptBADGE TYPE/COLOR: Key--BlueREPORTS TO: Supervisor, Games Performance, DR Games Performance SupervisorSUPERVISES: N/AJOB SUMMARY:This position is for Table Technician ensuring proper operation tables/equipment and the maintenance and repair of both tables and all associated equipment.JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and ValuesConduct preventative maintenance on Table Games with detailed recordsMaintain a sense of urgency in responding to calls over the radioTake initiative to provide internal and external service to guest, co-workers, and supervisorsClean, repair and diagnosis of faulty shufflers, corrects minor mechanical issues, electrical and electronic failures and in depth troubleshooting etc.Maintain, install and clean table game signage and ensures proper operationProvide preventative maintenance to roulette wheels and other table related devicesConduct follow-ups on repairs or parts requestedInstall, convert, upgrade and move gaming tables in specified time frame with 100% accuracyEnsure games and related equipment are communicating properly with in house monitoring/recording system(s)Posses the ability to work in an individual or team environmentMaintain, replace and repair table layouts, table rails, etc.Repair and maintain gaming supplies such as toke boxes, discard rack, chip trays etc.Complete a repair log and maintain information and data via excel and e-mailParticipative member of the team by volunteering and being involved with projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestionsProactive with incidents and issues, ensuring that they are resolvedInvoke service recovery as neededAdhere to internal controls, departmental, and company policies/procedures in an ethical mannerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or GED requiredOne year electronics Training, Certification, Technical School or experience preferredValid driver's license required with no more than one (1) DUI convictions or 3 or more moving violations, 3 or more traffic citation convictions in the past 3 years (from date of conviction) or conviction for suspension or conviction for at fault accident within the last 3 years preferredMust demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:Knowledge of principles and practices of basic carpentry, electricity and general maintenanceKnowledge of tools, parts, supplies and equipment used in basic carpentry and general maintenance.Operating computer hardware and software pertaining to the setup and maintenance of electronic table devicesProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent attendance record in previous positionsDemonstrate high levels of required service skills on a consistent basisDelight our guests with outstanding serviceDemonstrated teamwork behaviors and attitudesExcellent oral and written communication skillsCapable of working independently and taking initiativeFollow written and oral communicationsAttention to detailBasic electronics knowledgeUse of hand toolsUse of multi-meter or fluke (AC/DC volts and Continuity test)Use of manufacturers test equipmentNeat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygienePHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situationsMust be able to lift 300 pounds using a dollyMust be able to lift 100 pounds with team liftingMust be able to lift 50 pounds manuallyMust be able to maneuver to all areas of casinoMust be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, crawl and grip itemsMust be able to be on feet for long periods of timeMust be able to respond to visual and aural cuesMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishMust be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including secondhand smokeMust be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
